Books and Articles by Leo Hura

Articles

Most of my observations about avoiding, preventing, resolving conflict are contained in my blogs. I try and write an entry weekly.

However, longer articles, which are not published are available on this site. And, since I get new information on these subjects subjects I try and update the articles at least yearly.

I'll provide updated dates when the articles are rewritten. If you have comments send me an e-mail at mediatewithlh@mediate.com .

I love comments or feedback.  If I have more to say than in an article I write books and each has a story line.  My books are for clients who need a story line in order to read a how to book. Each book is written with a view that clients have limited time.

A book on Team Management (no name yet)

I am struggling with writing a book (time constraints) for organizations which have teams and where team leaders spend up to 70% on people issues. the intent of the book is to talk about team leadership as a collaborative effort, moving away from the authoratative model practiced in the past. My argument for collab oration is based upon the fact that team members are more specialized and projects are more complex requiring team leaders to collaborate and free up their time to deal with "content". Collaboration usually takes more time unless the skills are there and the team is operating in a "resolution" culture. I've written several articles, some present on this web page on thsi subject.
