Leo Hura is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a BS and of Seton Hall Law School with a JD.

Leo's career began with six years of active duty in the Navy where he served on the USS Sample and USS Vreeland. After leaving active duty Leo accepted a positon with Merck & Co. in the Operations area serving in Quality Assurance, Validation and as Capital Project Leader in a variety of construction projects. He was awarded the Chairman's award for a project he led in the ophthalmics therapy area. His assignments were often to rescue projects from failure. His 25 year career included living in Japan and France and 10 years of international project related services. He also maintained his contact with the Navy in the US NAval Reserves for an additional 8 years.

After early retirment from Merck Leo decided to pursue his passion for conflict resolution as a means by which to utilize his law degree and leverage his project management expertise. He has been active with the Association of Conflict Resolution (ACR) and the International Society of Pharmacetuical Engineers (ISPE).

He has mediated case in many areas of conflict resolution and has recently added the production of training videos from concept through production. Production training videos in his area of expertise has allowed Leo to utilize his professional background and leverage his creativity in the area of training.

Leo is a prolific blogger, plays competitive soccer, hikes, and swims and snorkels the Hawaiian waters.
