Avoid,Prevent,ResolveConflictSeries
Our series is called Avoiding, Preventing, Resolving Conflict - one 30 minute episode each month. We have aired and posted 23 episodes on Olelo Community TV and made many available on Olelo on Demand. We continue to expand our repetoire of offerings including The Jones Family Adventure - a series of episodes about a conflict prone family facing issues when they move to Hawaii. We've also collaborated with ACR Hawaii to air workshops on Apologies and Forgiveness, and are in post production of a workshop on pain,anger, denial. Our objective is to educate, promote, and demonstrate the use of peaceful processes in conflict situations. Let me tell you about our volunteers. They all have day jobs yet are finding the time to participate in this volunteer endeavor. In Hawaii we are fortunate enough to have Community television in Olelo which provides the facilities, equipment and technical support to make our series possible. We produce the series as a public service. We hope the enthusiasm, dedication, and passion of our volunteers is contagious.
