Leo Hura, JD-Mediator works with and trains clients to avoid, prevent, and resolve conflict in business and interpersonal relationships. Leo works, vacations, and lives in Hawaii. He travels meet client needs on the mainland.
"I find mediation ideally suited to people in conflict or dispute who, along with the people with whom they are in conflict or dispute, want to seek a new direction towards resolution without resorting to all out war in an adversarial win - lose environment where relationships are severely damaged, even ruined. These clients are sophisticated enough to trust their own ability and have sufficient respect for the other side to collaborate in a problem solving effort towards resolution. Trust may be damaged or broken without deterring conficting sides in their mutual determination to seek resolution."
Leo conducts mediations on Oahu and via teleconference. Leo is a producer of training videos dealing with avoiding, preventing, resolving conflict. Leo is on the Steering Committee for Project Management for the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers. Leo is a volunteer mediator at the Mediation Center of the Pacific, Inc. Leo continues to play soccer and loves to hike and snorkel.
