Use of video as a means of communications has come roaring back - at least in volume - just visit You Tube or Vimeo to see for yourself. However, just any video won't do, as viewers and your target audience want quality in production and that doesn't mean just in term of what they see on the screen - but the video quality does help. I've had the good fortune of working the a to z's of video production for 3 years and in about 50 videos - most of which deal with informing, educating, and promoting avoiding, preventing, and resolving conflict. I've produced videos in other areas to gain a better understanding of how to present a variety of subject matter and how to integrate it into my primary product. Its even possible that if you don't have video either on or linked through your website - your website may not get much attention - people want to see who you are and what you do - and video provides that means.

How can you utilize video? Well you may wish to speak on camera about your services, provide tips, tell a story to demonstrate the type of cases you handle and how you handle them. You may wish to produce a short, a 30 minute segment or longer. You may wish to be captured in a workshop, during a presentation, a forum, a panel discussion. You may wish to have people who know you and your abilities provide endorsements about their experience with you meeting their needs. Or you may not know exactly what you want to do but would like to discuss the possibilities or alternatives or development of an idea into a video production - we may be able to develop your thoughts into an approach, a storyboard, a script, and a production. We can work with you on a single production project or a series or a combination of announcements and more extensive videos. As much as I hate to part with productions - ownership of the video and its content will be yours.

We can start with an idea, develop a concept, map your story, develop a script, engage actors, produce, edit, and provide you a product for your review. In production I make it a point to capture more in video then will be used - whether it is the number of 'takes', additional questions and answers in an interview, a panel discussion, and so on, to ensure that in post production we can weave together a product meeting your needs. 

We love imagery which can be incorporated into the videos whether that be slides, text, additional video clips, or we'll produce graphics - all of which add to content and sustain attention for the length of the video. So, when we're done with shooting the video don't be surprised that it may take some time before we're done with post production.  We edit everything we do so as to make videos as concise, clear, and on point as possible.

We are in Hawaii so besides our glorious surroundings, weather, and Aloha spirit these islands have talent in various aspects of video production and I have been fortunate enough to develop relationships with distinguished talent - some professional others who want to participate part time and there's always somebody new - itching to get involved. And, as I understand it, we probably have the highest per capita ADR talent pool in the nation to draw from for expertise and experience.

Mediation Practice

I have 10 years of experience in facilitative mediation and my expertise is built upon my 25 years in solving problems in projects while I was a Capital Project Team Leader, both in the US and France, Technical Advisor to our subsidiary in Japan, and Far East Licensee Coordinator for Merck's manufacturing division.

So, if you have a really tough nut to crack requiring problem solving in mediation draw upon my expertise and experience not just in projects but in the many areas where problem solving is the process of choice. I am particularly keen on problems requiring the identification and/or generation of creative alternatives leading to practical solutions.

I charge a very modest $150/hour or negotiate a fixed fee.
