Lynn MacBeth was recently selected as a Mediator for the United States District Court of Western Pennsylvania. Effective June 1, 2006, civil cases awaiting trial in federal court must engage in alternative dispute resolution prior to trial.
Mediation is a desirable alternative to trial. Parties usually reach a resolution in mediation and not only avoid the costly and time-consuming ordeal of a trial, but also reach a final result, avoiding endless appeals, reversals, and collection of payment.
Lynn MacBeth is experienced in mediating Employment Discrimination, Civil Rights, Property Disputes, and Commercial Contracts cases. She also has experience in Medical Malpractice, Product Liability and Personal Injury.
