Seven Steps for Effective Problem Solving in the Workplace
By Tim Hicks
Problem solving and decision making. Ask anyone in the
workplace if these activities are part of their day and they'd
certainly answer "Yes!" But how many of us have had
training in problem solving? We know it's a critical

do it effectively?

News from Southern Africa
South African Defence Deputy Minister Nozizwe Madlala-
Routledge was given the cold shoulder by the Namibian
ministry yesterday when she met government officials.
She wanted to put across the SA government's view that the
way out of the war situation in the Namibia-Angola
border areas was negotiations between the Angolan
Government and Unita, sources said. (2/10/2000)
