Chris Stern Hyman, J.D.
From 1980 until 1995, Chris was Chief Counsel of the Bureau of Professional Medical Conduct in the New York State Department of Health where she supervised the 25 lawyers who prosecuted physicians for professional misconduct throughout the state. Before that she was an Assistant Attorney General in the New York State Department of Law and handled cases of misconduct for all licensed professions. Chris is a former chairman of the Committee on Bioethical Issues of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.She is an experienced mediator and mediation trainer.
Marc Fleisher, J.D.
An experienced litigator, mediator, and mediation trainer, Marc is a graduate of the Certificate Program in Bioethics and the Medical Humanities offered by the Montefiore Medical Center's Bioethics Consultation Service and the NYU Division of Nursing. He is a Greenwall Foundation Fellow in clinical ethics consultations, a member of the Institutional Review Board (Committee for Human Rights in Research) of New York Presbyterian Hospital, and legislative liason for the Committee on Bioethical Issues of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Marc initiated and continues to teach mediation courses at Brooklyn Law School as an adjunct professor.
