The division is entirely devoted to providing ADR services including serving as a third party administrator of mediation for law firms and courts. The division accepts all types of disputes for mediation and will find a suitably trained and experienced mediator to fit any need.
Thom Bouis has been trained in ADR/mediation by the National Academy of Conciliators, the National Center for Dispute Settlement, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, the US-EEOC, the USPS, the Dallas Baptist Convention and is certified for NASD Panel Arbitration. He is a member of the Association for Conflict Resolution, the Construction Arbitration Service, and ADR Services International. He preferrs cases in the areas of 1)professional malpractice, 2)product liability/warranty and 3) real estate: including sale contracts, home improvements, construction, and workmanship issues. Other cases accepted involve workplace/employment issues, federal EEO claims and general commercial disputes.
Serious and complex cases need professional mediation as opposed to professional litigation. Try our services, we think you'll like the outcome. And, in the event your first mediation does not produce a full resolution, a second or third mediation each with a different mediator is often successful and still costs a fraction of a Court trial of which you have no control of the result.
