Smith, senior program officer in the Education and Training Center at the U.S. Institute of Peace, will discuss the work of USIP focusing on its applied efforts overseas, its training and education efforts in the U.S. (including its recently established Academy for International Conflict Management and Peacebuilding), and its new headquarters and public education center.
