CommuniQuest is the contractor for stakeholder outreach through HMMH for the Van Nuys Airport Part 161 process.  CommuniQuest is responsible for the public outreach program design, development and implementation to include public meetings, draft media material, draft informational material, direct mailings, translations and interpreters to meet environmental justice requirements, draft public notices and advertisements, media placement of legal notices and advertisements, as well as the public docket. 

CommuniQuest is also responsible for maintenance of the stakeholder database and responses to inquiries.  For the public meetings, CommuniQuest is responsible for design, organization and logistical arrangements of the public meetings to include achieving all state and federal CEQA and NEPA requirements related to public outreach. 

CommuniQuest organized and implemented all arrangements for the CEQA Scoping meeting (2007) and public meeting (2008) associated with the Phaseout of Noisier Aircraft Study to include the public notices, mailings, database, presentation board production, press releases, meeting room arrangements.

The Part 161 Study documentation is being prepared, with the expectation of completing the 161 Study by spring of 2010.
