Not surprised! I've had to mediate conversations between mediators on whether a mediator might hold a political view, or worse, an emotional bias around, for example, the Middle East conflict. The subtext being that mediators cannot have ideas, feelings, and convictions as well as be able to professionally choose to be impartial when mediating a case. Seems like some of us are not fully human? |
