The NFS syndrome is not uncommon with third party neutrals who reach a similar stage with participants. Just when the skills of the neutral, most especially patience and reserves of creativity, are most needed, the exhaustion may set in. Have seen this most often with neutrals who are very used to driving hard for results such as former trial attorneys and retired judges. Good to see this named and acknowledged...interested in additional tools to deal with it.
