Robert Otey, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Educational Administration Department of Concordia University in Austin, Texas. He is also an adjunct professor at St. Edward's University in Austin where he teaches Conflict: Families to Bureaucracies and Special Topics in Negoiation in the Masters of Human Services in Conflict Resolution program. Dr. Otey also is an adjunct faculty member at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos and Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. Dr. Otey is a professional mediator and has completed advanced mediation training from the New Mexico Center for Dispute Resolution. He has wide and varied experience in the mediation areas of employment, gangs, students, community, church, educational, and public policy disputes. Dr. Otey teaches Managing Conflict in Schools in ACU's certificate program.
