Bailey Elected to Serve Peace and Conflict Division of NCA
 Garry Bailey, Associate Professor of Conflict Resolution at Abilene Christian University, was elected Secretary of the Peace and Conflict Communication Division of the National Communication Association (NCA). The division's goal is to bring together scholars who have ideas about handling conflict on many different levels, from conflict in marriage to the conflicts in the Middle East. The division is currently working on it's bylaws. In order to encourage research and teaching in peace and conflict, the division gives awards to Top Papers submitted by established scholars and graduate students.
Dr. Bailey has been a member of NCA since 1986. Since that time, he has presented many papers, served as a respondent on panels, participated on paper judging panels and nominating committees.
