Matt Dodd, Asst. Director of the Center, Earns Ph.D
During the coursework, Matt took interest in family and couple issues, the use of technology in working with families, as well as individual and family development. These interests culminated in his dissertation entitled IDENTITY STATUS AND TECHNOLOGY MEDIATED COMMUNICATION BETWEEN COLLEGE STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS. Dr. Dodd's future research interests include couple and family conflict as well as technology in relationships. Matt plans to continue teaching and practicing in the field of conflict resolution at Abilene Christian University, where he is the Assistant Director of the ACU Center for Conflict Resolution.
