Susan is immediate past president of the Maricopa County Association for Family Mediators (MCAFM), past president of the Arizona Association for Conflict Resolution (AACR) and serves on the advisory board of Arizona Collaborative Colleagues. She mediates for Maricopa County Justice Courts, the U.S. Postal Service's REDRESS Program and is a member of the Employment Mediation Panel for the American Arbitration Association.  She is vice president of the Metropolitan chapter of Business and Professional Women (BPW) that honored her as the 2010 Woman of the Year.  

Susan helped develop UC Santa Barbara's Mediation and Dispute Resolution professional certificate program and teaches two courses:  Divorce Mediation and Beyond Reason:  Understanding Emotions in Dispute Resolution.
