The Association of Missouri Mediators has created a training video for mediators on the "Right to Cure" law (MO Senate Bill 168 effective Aug. 2005). Mediation is an option for home owners and contractors to resolve new construction and substantial remodeling disputes informally.
The video includes an overview of the new statute, perspectives of homeowners and contractors, the stages of mediation, analysis of risk and damages, agreement writing and ethics. Written materials are included.
