Course Overview
This intensive training presents an interest-based mediation model for anyone who is called upon to help resolve conflicts for others, including those who want to mediate professionally. Using effective communication and collaborative problem-solving skills, mediators help parties get to the root of the problem by engaging them in respectful dialogue. An impartial mediator guides parties in an interest-based conflict resolution process that empowers people to make decisions and work out their own solutions.

"Basic Mediator Training" is for managers, school administrators and teachers, human resource professionals, attorneys, social workers and others who want to practice successfully as professional mediators – within your workplace organization or externally with clients in a private practice.
