· Discover how the Ombudsperson helps to resolve conflict within organizations.
· Understand how the Ombudsperson enhances both organizations and the employees who work within them.
Elaine Lutkitz, EdD, MFT, CEAP is Twelfth District Ombudsman at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRBSF), a position she has held since 1994.
Dr. Lutkitz is a founding member of The Bay Area Ombud’s Forum, the Employee Assistance Professionals Association and The Ombudsman Association, for which she teaches Theory of Negotiation. Elaine has over 20 years experience in the conflict resolution field. In addition to her full-time position as Ombudsman, she has a part-time psychotherapy practice with offices in Mill Valley and San Francisco.
Elaine has invited John F. Moore, First Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco to make brief comments on the value of having an Organizational Ombudsman on board. (Invited guest barring increased travel demands.)
Cost: $15 for members of ADRNC, $25 non-members.
BBS Credit (for CA MFTs/LCSWs; Approval # PCE 3301): $20 – 2 hours
Important Note: Registrations for this program must be received before Friday, July 29, 2005. Due to Bank security, there will be no on-site or late registrations accepted. Inasmuch as it is necessary to escort visitors to and from the meeting room, if you need to arrive late, please plan to arrive no later than 6:45 p.m.; we will depart the conference room as a group at the conclusion of the event on or before 8:30 p.m.
