9:30 – 11:45 ACR Spirituality Section Regional Meeting
The Spirituality Section Co-Chairs will discuss the evolving mission of the section as well as current issues and events. Attendees will be encouraged to make brief presentations of their work and interests, including any proposals submitted to ACR for the annual conference. An opportunity to exchange ideas and meet others with similar interests.

1:00 – 4:00 Mediating with Mindfulness, Heart & Spirit
This interactive program will explore the spiritual dimension of mediation, and the potential of mediation to foster growth and healing, including: *How can spiritual values be integrated with the mediation process? *How can mediators and parties access the intelligence of the heart during conflict? *How do one’s core values and commitments come into play? *How can mediators generate an environment in which parties are able and willing to take those values and commitments into account?
Presenters:
Eileen Barker is a full-time mediator and trainer. Drawing on 25 years of experience in law, mediation, psychology, and spirituality, since 1991, she has mediated hundreds of cases. Eileen teaches courses on mediation, conflict resolution and negotiation at Boalt and Sonoma State.
Laura Farrow is an attorney mediator who mediates a broad range of disputes. Laura teaches mediation at two major California law schools. She is past Chair of the ADR Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco, and a former member of the Boards of NCMA and CDRC.
