Wendy Palmer has developed Conscious Embodiment using Aikido principles as a way of studying boundaries and deepening relationships. In this highly interactive program Wendy will lead us through simple movement exercises to help us increase our awareness of how we react to others and the messages we give others through our body responses.
Wendy will present techniques that can help you:
· Increase your presence during mediation
· Learn to ground and center under stress during a mediation
· Be more skillful in the presence of strong emotions
· Deal more effectively with resistance and/or attacks from parties in a mediation
· Maintain neutrality
Bring your questions about difficult experiences that you have had in mediation.
Wendy Palmer is a fifth degree black belt in Aikido. She is co-founder and chief instructor with George Leonard at Tamalpais Aikido in Mill Valley, California. She is the author of two books, The Practice of Freedom, Rodmell Press and The Intuitive Body, North Atlantic Books and a video of the same name.
