The Panelists will outline the standards that serve as the general framework for the practice of ADR. They will discuss the existing codes of conduct for ADR providers and take into consideration issues and problems that routinely surface in the ADR practice, including; model standards of professional conduct, confidentiality, impartiality, conflicts of interest, competence, advertising, solicitation and fees.
Heather Anderson, Staff Attorney with the Office of the General Counsel for the Administrative Office of the Courts at Judicial Council. She served as the lead staff working with the Blue Ribbon Panel of Experts charged with the development of the Judicial Council's Ethics Standards for Contractual Arbitrators.
Paul Dubow, Mediator and active member of CDRC and the State Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. He is a member of the Judicial Council of California working group that drafted the Rules for Mediators in Court connected mediations.
