Programs Committee
Responsible for planning, budgeting, implementing and managing educational and outreach programs, including Annual Conference. This responsibility includes arranging and coordinating program presenters, topics, facilities, promotional and handout materials, hospitality, as well as assuring timely announcements to the ADR community and other interested parties.

Programs Committee Goals for 2011:

·         Focus on gathering support for the programs committee for the annual conference

·         Build a “Library” of programs and work as a team with members to make them happen

·         Enhance the marketing team to build attendance for programs

·         Support other ADR organizations in their programs via promotion with discounts for ADRNC members

Communications Committee

Provides direction and guidance to the Board regarding strategy and implementation of communication goals and plans. Responsible for publications and dissemination of information to members and non-members, including the quarterly e-newsletter, the website, the public ADRNC listserve, as well as the various internal ADRNC yahoo groups.

Communications Committee Goals for 2011:

·         Update and Improve Website and communications with membership*

·         Build a “live” membership list with professional links*

·         Build best-in-business calendar listing of ALL ADR events. Self driving system.

·         Build on-line forum and/or interaction for member communications*

·         Build upon relationships with all Northern CA ADR organizations

·         Continue to e-publish quarterly newsletter

Membership Committee

Responsible for outreach to potential new members and for providing services to current members. Duties include maintaining the current membership roster, tracking membership renewals, canvassing membership for their needs and ideas, designing and implementing new services for members and encouraging new membership.

Membership Committee Goals for 2011:

·         Update and Improve Website and communications with membership*

·         Build a “live” membership list with professional links*

·         Build on-line forum and/or interaction for member communications*

·         Retain and build on membership through promotion of the work being done in the 2011-2012 plan.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee develops and monitors the budget, including coordinating committee budgets, making recommendations for membership dues and fees for programs, conferences and other income sources. The Finance Committee keeps the Board apprised of current financial situations and makes projections for the coming fiscal year.

Finance Committee Goals for 2011:

·         Build visibility and regular reporting into accounting capabilities

·         Build advertising and possibly sponsorship into the website

·         Build revenue through sponsored ads on the website

·         Consider revenue in all program decisions

·         Develop new sources of funding

Diversity & Equity Committee
The committee’s purpose is to promote diversity, inclusion and equity within ADRNC and in the ADR field. 

The committee seeks to carry out its purpose in the following ways:

• As the keeper of metrics by collecting organizational demographic data to determine the diversity of our membership.
• Through supporting internal organizational awareness of diversity and equity issues within the committee itself and within the board by facilitating internal discussions/dialogues about diversity and clarification of our diversity goals; and by working with each of the standing committees to assist with organizing more inclusive ADRNC activities and programming.
• Through organizing/convening/facilitating/sponsoring programs and forums for the ADRNC Board, the ADRNC membership, the broader field of ADR and other communities; including sponsoring/organizing diversity programs; and including facilitating diversity discussion forums.
