The committee’s purpose is to promote diversity, inclusion and equity within ADRNC and in the ADR field. 

The committee seeks to carry out its purpose in the following ways:

• As the keeper of metrics by collecting organizational demographic data to determine the diversity of our membership.
• Through supporting internal organizational awareness of diversity and equity issues within the committee itself and within the board by facilitating internal discussions/dialogues about diversity and clarification of our diversity goals; and by working with each of the standing committees to assist with organizing more inclusive ADRNC activities and programming.
• Through organizing/convening/facilitating/sponsoring programs and forums for the ADRNC Board, the ADRNC membership, the broader field of ADR and other communities; including sponsoring/organizing diversity programs; and including facilitating diversity discussion forums.
