ADRNC is excited to offer a very special full-day program with Kenneth Cloke, an internationally known leader in the field of dispute resolution, and author of numerous books including Mediating Dangerously. This workshop will be based on Ken Cloke's newly released book, The Crossroad of Conflict – A Journey into the Heart of Dispute Resolution. Come learn practical techniques and explore a unified theory of conflict resolution that Ken has developed over several decades of experience.
Every conflict points to a crossroad in our lives. One path leads to anger, fear, and bitterness. A second leads to empathy, acceptance, and mutual respect. Yet there is a third path leading to compassion, integrity, and heartfelt communications. This path leads to forgiveness and reconciliation, wisdom, and heart. The Crossroads of Conflict workshop will explain how these paths are connected, present a unified theory of conflict resolution, and offer practical techniques for openhearted communication in mediation.
Ken Cloke’s unified theory for resolving conflict is groundbreaking and destined to become a cornerstone of the future of dispute resolution.

Reviews of Kenneth Cloke’s book The Crossroads of Conflict:
“Once again Ken Cloke pushes us to think beyond the conventional boundaries of conflict resolution. This time he goes so far as to propose a unified field theory. His ideas are dangerous. Read him at your own risk and the reward is great!”
William Ury, co-author Getting to Yes, author The Third Side.
“The Crossroads of Conflict is a treasure trove of profound insight and practical wisdom about understanding, addressing, transforming and transcending conflict. It will enrich and inspire, and even empower, not only mediators, but anyone who works with conflict, professionally or personally.”
Leonard L. Riskin, Director, Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution; Director, Initiative on Mindfulness in Law and Dispute Resolution; University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law
