Join us for an evening with veteran mediators Eleanor Bloch and Barbara Kob in an informal setting at their offices. Eleanor Bloch is the co-founder of Marin County Mediation Services, and has been the Civil Coordinator there since 1979. Barbara Kob is Marin County Mediation Services’ Mediation Manager. Several staff mediators will also join in the dialogue. Engage them in conversation regarding what it is like to provide mediation services in a community mediation center setting. Learn more about their unique program and what has made their organization successful.

Marin County Mediation Services was established over 26 years ago and continues to grow and expand services. This county, city, fee and court-funded program handles a wide range of disputes including: small claims, landlord/tenant, business, neighbor, environmental, employee/employer, discrimination and harassment, family, personal injury, consumer, government, traffic, victim-offender, animal issues and rental property inspections. It also handles parking ticket appeals, vicious dog hearings, severance of parental rights report, dependency mediations, and truancy mediations. In addition, it offers a  40-hour mediation training for basic mediation certification at least once a year.

Location: Marin County Mediation Services offices near the Marin County Civic Center in San Rafael. The location is right off Highway 101 on North San Pedro Road. (Exact address will be emailed to you in response to your registration).

Cost: No charge for this member-only event.
