Program Description

Experts Wilma and Gus Gold will focus on prevention. They will discuss their success in creating communities built on trust and discuss the impact of power imbalance, when bullying is an issue. This program will help you understand how children and adults alike can empower themselves and their communities in the face of this problem.

NonViolence in the Lives of Children Project: Non-Violence In The Lives Of Children was founded in 1993 as a committee of the California Association for the Education of Young Children. It was incorporated as a non-profit in 2005. The organization is made up of early childhood professionals (teachers, directors and college professors), public school teachers, social workers, professors of education and diversity trainers.
