Ask him about what he does in the Bay Area with his work, but also, ask John about his adventures in an Afghan refugee camp with the tribal elders, about his experiences with people in workshops from around the world, or about his visit to a favela (shanty town) in Rio de Janeiro under the protection of the drug lord that controlled that area of the city. He is a certified trainer of the Center for Nonviolent Communication. He has for years worked closely with Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D., the creator of NVC.
