Creativity
Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.
George Bernard Shaw
We have access to all the creative inspiration we will ever need, when we agree to use mindfulness and intention to set it into motion. It is with this creativity that we share our gifts with the world. We have only one job: to have the courage to offer that creative expression to the universe. We are unique expressions of spirit in a common cause for common ground. We will make our mark on the world by sharing those gifts and knowing we are tapping into the creativity we already possess.
The faculty of creativity is never given to us all by itself. It always goes hand in hand with the gift of observation. And the true creator may be recognized by his ability always to find about him, in the commonest and humblest thing, items worthy of note.
Igor Stravinsky
Meditate today on the word “creativity.” Breathe in the fluid nectar of genius, and breathe out the restriction of negative thought. Breathe in the brilliance of new ideas; breathe out limitation of the ego mind.
Recognize the ways in which you exercise the power of your personal genius. In what way can you make a creative difference today?
