Spirituality Section News

Greetings!  We hope your summer is off to a delightful start.  These beautiful days pass us by so quickly!

The Spirituality Section is busy on a number of projects.  Here’s a brief update on what we have going on.  For starters, we haing an election!  We are thrilled to have two wonderful candidates running. It takes a village to run a section, and we’re happy that others are willing to join Lili Zohar and Emily Gould in leading our Section. 

The Spirituality Section is also hosting the Sections Event on Thursday, October 8th in Atlanta!  Preparations are being made to host a great event – and welcome those who are willing to work with us in creating this event.

We also have a committee working on our next retreat, RMR5.  Stay tuned for more details about location and dates.  The Rocky Mountain Retreat is Very special to everyone that attends.

For several years now, we have held our monthly telemeeting on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 AM Mountain time.  In September, we are going to change our meeting time to 3 PM Mountain time.  This should enable more section members to join our call – especially those of you on the West Coast!  The call will still be on the first Monday of the month.

To produce the miraculous.
I am thinking of the way the intangible air
Passed at speed round a shaped wing
Easily holds our weight.
So may we, in this life trust
To those elements we have yet to see
Or imagine, and look for the true
Shape of our own self, by forming it well
To the great intangibles about us.
