ACRSS Telemeeting Minutes
January 9, 2012, 5 PM Eastern
Attending: Paula, Jodi, Nan, JoAnn, Tammy, Deb, Christina,
Paula offered greetings and opened the meeting. She asked participants to share what they were bringing to the meeting today, in terms of spirit or needs.
Paula then shared the exciting news that we are confirmed with the IONS center, and that Thomas Moore will be speaking for the entire retreat. The IONS center is near San Fransisco. The pre-retreat day is 1/31/13, and the retreat runs from 2/1 through 2/3/13. A post retreat day is available, also. Nan will contact Eileen for help with finding ground crew people.
· JoAnn will send out RFPs to section.
· Our teleseminars are almost covered for the year.
· Tammy is submitting for a preconference institute (ed. note: should be a shoo-in!)
· We should have outreach to all sections around spiritual support
· Nan will network to get support from all sections for our section
· We are the featured section in the September 17th ACR Update, and will highlight the Retreat
· St. Malo is asking us to send letters to the Archbishop to urge movement on rebuilding
· Nan will send letter to her Shadow Series group
· The mini-retreat will be at Nan’s chalet either 6/22-24 or 6/8-10

Working Together

We shape our self to fit this world
And by the world are shaped again.
The visible and the invisible
Working together in common cause,
To produce the miraculous.
I am thinking of the way the intangible air
Passed at speed round a shaped wing
Easily holds our weight.
So may we, in this life trust
To those elements we have yet to see
Or imagine, and look for the true
Shape of our own self, by forming it well
To the great intangibles about us.
