Forgiveness can heal your life. Without forgiveness we remain locked in the past. We continue to give attention and energy to past conflicts and to experience the negative emotions associated with those situations, including anger, fear, resentment and shame.

Forgiveness is a choice. It's a decision to let go of the past. Forgiveness does not depend on what anyone else does. It's something you do for your own benefit, not for anyone else. Forgiveness is choosing to reclaim your life and your energy, so you can live fully and freely in the present moment.

Open yourself to the miracle of forgiveness. Participants will be guided through a powerful forgiveness process and have the opportunity to apply the steps of forgiveness to his or her own situation. As we embrace the grace of forgiveness, the world around us changes too.

“A profound, life changing experience.”

Unified Mediation: Working from a Non-Dual Perspective
Register Online
May 14-17, 2009
Thursday, 1:30-6:30pm; Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm; Saturday, 9am-6pm; Sunday, 9:00am-1:00pm

Unified Mediation is an advanced training for mediators and others already trained in mediation or general conflict resolution. Many core mediation trainings, regardless of the model or approach, fail to provide a theoretical underpinning to serve as the basis from which the training evolves. Many current approaches to mediation identify the mediator's place as somewhat outside of, and separate from the disputant's system. A mediation model based on sound gestalt theory and practice exemplifies the cycle that transpires in human interaction, highlights the critical and positive role of resistance and exemplifies the way in which the intentional presence of the mediator and choice intervention points by the mediator serve as valuable instruments to help people reach resolution. In Unified Mediation we rely on fundamental gestalt theory and practice, augmented by concepts of non-dualistic teachings based on Integrated Kabbalistic Healing. This workshop provides a solid theoretical paradigm for mediators to understand the interactions that take place when a dispute occurs, and uses sound experiential practice to increase fundamental skill levels that help mediators to move disputants through potential impasses to reach resolutions.

Learning Objectives:
    To present the gestalt cycle of experience as an organizing framework for mediation
    To demonstrate how resistance - that of the disputants and the mediator -can be used as a positive force to support reaching resolution;
    To exemplify ways mediators can actively use self- awareness and direct participation - (called use of self) - to support and empower disputants to reach resolve conflicts ;
    To increase mediator competency through higher levels of self-integration, heightened self-awareness, and increased non-duality of the work.
