2009 USOA Annual Conference- September 28- Oct 2 2009
Dear United States Ombudsman Association members and friends, We hope that you are planning to join us in September in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado for our 30th Annual Conference. The Conference Registration packet is now available on our web site via the following link:
The Registration packet includes the conference agenda; important information regarding the conference hotel, ground transportation between the airport and hotel, etc.; and the registration form. You will see from the agenda that this year's conference continues USOA's tradition of offering training focused on the skills needed for the unique work we do, as well as sessions on current issues in the ombudsman world. And of course the opportunity to share ideas and network with colleagues from across the continent and overseas.
In addition to the main conference, we will again be offering the two-day New Ombudsman Training preconference workshop on Monday and Tuesday, September 28 and 29. We are also offering a one-day preconference workshop on Tuesday by CLEAR that will cover three modules from its National Certified Investigator Training Specialized Program that are directly relevant to the work we do as an ombudsman. Attendees of this workshop may be eligible for .75 hours of CLE credits from CLEAR.
