ACR Florida Chapter
Welcome to our Chapter website.
As you may know, Florida has been the nation’s leader in mediation experience since 1988. Three key components to the success of mediation in Florida have been the Florida Supreme Court’s strict ethical standards for certified and court-appointed mediators, the Florida mediator certification process, and the many Continuing Mediator Education (CME) programs offered each year by the the Florida Supreme Court’s Dispute Resolution Center and others. We will be offering CME courses in the future!
But, ACR - and the ACR Florida chapter - aren't only about mediation. While we are proud of our mediation experience, Florida is also home to many different types of dispute resolution: arbitration; voluntary trial resolution; parent coordination; facilitation; fact-finding; early neutral evaluation; collaboration; and others. Our tent (both ACR's and the Florida chapter's) is big enough for all types of dispute resolution alternatives, and we welcome your involvement. We will also be exploring continuing education classes for those other dispute resolution disciplines.
