Crisis Intervention Section Teleseminar CD available for:

Violence in the Workplace: A New Way to Recognize Potential Explosions and Effectively Intervene

Speaker: Dr. Marcus McElhaney

Dr. Marcus McElhaney detailed a risk management approach (as opposed to more traditional "profiling" approaches) that shows how to recognize, prevent and intervene when a workplace crisis is at hand.

Dr. McElhaney is Director of Critical Response Associates and the Centers for Dispute Resolution, LLC, where he consults with organizations (typically corporations and law enforcement agencies) regarding the assessment, management and resolution of high-risk incidents. He has helped schools and corporations develop workplace violence policies and crisis response programs, and currently presents workshops and training programs in the areas of workplace violence prevention, conflict resolution and crisis management.

The CD is 60 minutes long and can be purchased by sending a check to
