Walt stated that the new e-zine has been distributed and that surveys distributed with welcome letters are coming in. There have also been a couple of requests from members to post commercial websites.
Stuart said that he had received the e-zine. Three partners of Bostonsolv have written articles before for the section and are willing to submit others.
There was a discussion regarding interaction with local chapters to initiate collaboration with regard to training, conferences and other activities. Lee will identify the contacts of each chapter. Natalie suggested that our contact should be consistent in what we send out. Advisory council members may contact chapters in their immediate area if there are any.
Promotional materials were discussed. Walt will talk with Natalie Armstrong from Golden Media regarding marketing ideas. Natalie will identify promotional ideas that we might want to consider.
Walt will continue to send out the e-zine with current updates of section activities. He is considering another chat session possibly featuring a college professor, judge, square trade or e-bay issues. Wants to promote a constant information agenda. Requested the Advisory Council send ideas to him. He will send out “save the date” reminders and post the e-zine on the web. He will post Natalie’s conference presentation draft on the web.
