MICHELE S. RILEY, J.D., Section Co-Chair, RileyADR@yahoo.com serves as a court-approved mediator and arbitrator for the New York state and federal courts, handling disputes in the areas of commercial transactions and corporate matters. She is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s National Roster of Neutrals serving on its Panel of Mediators. Ms. Riley also arbitrates disputes for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). She complements her ADR practice by teaching courses on negotiation and mediation at Columbia University. She has extensive international experience having practiced law with a focus on cross-border transactions in both New York and Tokyo, Japan and is formerly General Counsel of a U.S.-based subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation.

KURT L. DETTMAN, Section Co-Chair, kdettman@c-adr.com, is the Principal of Constructive Dispute Resolutions, a consulting firm specializing in the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution in the construction industry. Mr. Dettman is formerly Associate Project Director for Claims Resolution of the Central Artery/Tunnel Project (CA/T) in Boston, Massachusetts. In that capacity, he was responsible for the resolution of all construction claims and change issues on the project. Mr. Dettman provides leadership for the Section's Teleseminar Program.

CINDY ALM, Membership Committee cynthiaalm@hawaii.rr.com, is an attorney, mediator and facilitator. She is a transactional attorney with experience in commercial real estate sales and leasing, including transactions between US and foreign buyers and sellers. She also mediates business and real estate disputes, and facilitates strategic planning meetings and board retreats. She has served as a panel member for the State of Hawaii's Medical Claims Conciliation Panel program. Ms. Alm is the section's Diversity & Equity Point Person. |

Mr. Dewill is a principal in DeWitt Grossman, P.L. a law firm that focuses on business, technology and dispute resolution. He serves as an arbitrator in domestic and international matters including commercial, civil and employment disputes. He is a member of the AAA's National Roster of Neutrals serving on its complex case panel, its commercial, employment and technology panels and its panel of Mediators. |

He is the former Director of Dispute Resolution for the Virginia State Division of Consumer Protection and Co-Chair of the National Consumer Disputes Advisory Committee of the American Arbitration Association. Hawaii.IDR.group@earthlink.net is the President of Hawaii International Dispute Resolution Group LLC, which helps organizations from different countries work together using multicultural dispute prevention and resolution strategies. Ms. Mossman is a facilitator, mediator and urban and land use planner. Ms. Mossman is the Chair of the Section's International Committee.

ROSENTEIN, jrosenstein@earthlink.net, a retired transactional lawyer, now specializes in dispute mediation and facilitated, collaborative problem-solving in complex multi-party matters, typically involving governmental bodies and non-profits as well as for-profit entities. He has written and spoken extensively on various negotiation and mediation topics. He is currently President of the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of ACR and co-chair of ACR's Task Force on Education of the Public. Mr. Rosenstein served as President of the ACR Board in 2008-09. |
