Ms. Moss Ms. Moss served as an adjunct professor at the Vanderbilt School of Law from 1984-2000, teaching in the appellate and trial advocacy programs. She was the first woman to chair the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee, the organization that supervises ethics and discipline for lawyers in Tennessee. She is listed in Best Lawyers in America®. She has been named by her peers on multiple occasions as one of the 100 best lawyers in Nashville in the Nashville Business Journal's Best of the Bar contest and was named a 2006 Mid-South Super Lawyer by Law & Politics Magazine. She is presently with the firm of Norris & Norris. Ms. Moss is extremely involved in the community and in Bar leadership. She received the 2007 ATHENA Award from a group of more than 30 women's organizations for her exemplary commitment to leadership, professional excellence, community involvement, and assistance to women and women's issues. Ms. Moss is on the Board of the YWCA and on the Alumni Board of Leadership Nashville. She recently finished a two year stint as legal counsel to CABLE and is active with the Magdalene Program, an organization that works with women with a criminal history of prostitution and drug addiction. Ms. Moss served a six year term on the Board of Governors of the Tennessee Bar Association. She has also served on the Board of the Nashville Bar Association and as the President of the Lawyers' Association for Women. Barbara is recently married after many years as a single mom. She and her new husband love to cook and they try to lure their collective five children to Sunday dinners every week.
