Where, When and How Much ? 

The setting for this training is quite extraordinary.  These training facilities are among the very best in the Nation. 

The main conference room where most of the training will take place is spacious and comfortable. The chairs, for instance, are individually adjustable, upholstered desk chairs.  The room is surrounded by glass that looks out over a pond and fountain with an adjacent patio for outdoor breaks and even some sessions.

Hands on work is done in the actual mediation rooms of Sovern Mediation giving the most accurate feel of real mediation.  Participants "get under the hood" of a successful mediation practice with all of its tools, forms, techniques, hardware, software and management processes.

The Resolution Center is located at the intersection of Interstate #380 at the Eastern Iowa Airport Exit close to both Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.  This provides for easy accessibility for air or auto travelers.  And, there is plenty of free parking.  Rates are available at the Country Inn Suites hotel at the same intersection and walking distance from the Center.

Basic 40 Hour Divorce and Family Mediation Training is held during the third week of April and October of each year.

• Spring 2010:  April 7, 8, 9,15 & 16  (sorry, the April class is full)
• Fall 2010:   October 6, 7, 8, 14 & 15

• Cost:  When your registration and deposit are received 30 days or more in advance of the first day of the seesion you wish to attend, the total fee is $975.  For registration and deposit received less than 30 days in advance of the seession, the fee is, $1,075.  This fee includes the complete manual, practice forms CD, a  continental breakfast along with afternoon snacks and refreshments.

• Reserve your place in the Training early.  Trainings most generally  reach the capacity of 15 participants well before early registration deadline.  We hate to turn people away.

• Your place in the training will be reserved for a non-refundable advance registration fee of $200.  The fee balance of $775 is due no later than 14 days prior to the first day of your session.
