Fee Structure

All suggested fees described are for two-party dispute resolution. The budget process takes into account allowances for time for items not charged such as set-up, brief review and travel. Fees for multiple parties are subject to negotiation, depending upon the nature and complexity of the controversy and the commonality of issues. Fees are based upon a day starting at nine and ending at five with a lunch break.

Initial Consultation:  NO CHARGE Inquire about special rates for program mediation. Flat Rate: $3500 per day. Hourly Rate: $400 for office time. Saint-Aubin Mediation does not charge parties for reasonable preparation time, study time or local travel time.  A deposit is necessary to reserve dates.  The deposit will be fully refundable if cancelled more than ten days before the scheduled date.  If cancelled later, a cancellation fee will be applied.  If the mediation concludes after the initial day, the parties will receive a pro rata refund.  Three hours constitutes a half-day. Follow-up telephone conferences will be charged in half-hour increments. For travel away from Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange counties actual air fares and hotel room costs will be charged to the parties. Unless the parties otherwise agree, all ADR fees will be borne equally by the parties.
