About Robert > Get A Life
Get A Life
In solving complex problems, in resolving disputes, the non-financial non-work human side of life contributes to finding answers. Focusing on the distant brings clarity to the near.
Robert, and his college sweetheart Deanna, moved to the Orange County Coast so they could walk on the beach, breathing moist, fresh, salt-laden sea air, sleep to the sound of breaking waves and eat lots of grilled fish and fresh vegetables. Deanna creates gourmet sauces, marinades, rubs, dishes and meals. Robert incinerates stuff on his grill. Classic left-brain and right-brain working together.
Many years ago, Deanna, the artistic counter-balance to technological Robert, departed the world of editing medical textbooks to pursue her love of art – carving life-like birds and creating pastel masterpieces. Deanna was on the Board of Directors of the Nevada Museum of Art that created Reno’s new icon art museum.
Both Robert and Deanna love classical music. While living in Reno, Robert served on the Boards of and counsel to the Nevada Opera, a producing opera company, and the Reno Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts.
In their youth, and as part of their transition from Philadelphia to the great American West, Robert and Deanna together engaged in master nature photography and backpacked and trekked through the canyons and deserts of Southern Utah and the glacial mountains of Wyoming’s Wind Rivers.
Now Robert and Deanna relax with a good book or a good meal, a glass of wine and dinner with friends.
