Richard A. Reyes, JD, MBA, MSCM is the managing Partner of Richard A. Reyes, LLC, a professional mediation service specializing in the resolution of Construction Disputes with special emphasis on the resolution of construction defect and building product liability litigation.
Mr. Reyes has enjoyed a successful career in the construction product industry over the past 25 years including 10 years as General Counsel for a large manufacturer of specialty contruction materials that were the subject of complex, multi-state litigation. Mr. Reyes developed an affinity for Mediation and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution as a result of his experience as an advocate for his clients throughout the U.S.A.
Mr. Reyes has participated in more than 700 mediations and has worked closely with prominent attorneys and third party neutrals in more than 30 states to resolve difficult litigation and other complex disputes. Mr. Reyes has successfully resolved disputes involving Insurance Declaratory Relief Actions, Class Action Litigation, Mass Tort Litigaiton, Product Liability Litigation, Construction Defect Litigation, Product Warranty Claims, Contract Disputes, Employment Disputes, Trademark Infringment and Intellectual Property Disputes.
In addition to his extensive construction industry experience and subject matter expertise, Mr. Reyes has committed himself to academic excellence. Mr. Reyes holds a Juris Doctor, a Masters degree in Business Administration, and a Masters of Science in Conflict Management making him uniquely qualified to understand the issues, interests and concerns of parties to a construction dispute.
