This is an absolutely terrific service. Thanks so much, and please keep up the great work. Leonard Riskin Mediation and Law Professor |
Keith, this is the best newsletter I ever have received. Thank you for putting it together. It is concise, informative and the links are great, for additional information. It is the best one I've ever received from anyone about anything! Melanie Vaughn Retired Judge |
Keith: I think you are doing an exemplary job in bringing current cases, commentaries, and such to the newsletter. As a former news hound, I know the difficulty in collecting information, and then making sense of it for popular consumption. Ken Bryant San Jose, CA |
Keith, thought you should see this. I feel like I’m getting credit for your work and I am in your debt! Thanks so much . . . None of us want to risk our credibility by sending out information that we can’t trust. The fact that we all trust your judgment and work is a high compliment. Susan Hammer Portland, OR Mediator
[sent to Susan in response to her Newsletter] Hi Susan -- Thought I'd drop you a note to say that your newsletter is very useful for my practice and for my teaching at the university. It's sometimes difficult to convince young and hard-charging aspiring litigators that mediation and settlement is often the best way to advance their clients' interests. The cases you cite help make that point. Hope you're doing well. Best, John John V. Acosta Senior Deputy General Counsel |
Jim and Keith: I thought you would enjoy hearing some great feedback I already got from my newsletter. Christine Eberhard Los Angeles Mediator
[Hi Chris, Thanks for sending the newsletter. I forwarded it to the other deputies in my division. Although many of the examples were from out of state, I find it helpful to see how issues are perceived in other jurisdictions. Occasionally, when there is no California law on the topic, it is information like this that either inspires us lawyers to come up with a new theory or to just try to get California to follow the other jurisdiction. See you soon! Marty Tachiki Deputy City Attorney (for identification purposes only, not an endorsement)] |
Keith, . . .Frankly it is a hell of a cheap way to contact all your clients every 2 months - and when you ask for business it's nice to be giving them something. Peter J. MacKeigan, Q.C., C.Med., C.Arb. Canadian Mediator |
Thank you! This is really great and so far reaching. Thanks again! Delia Johnson Director, Office of Civil Rights, International Broadcasting Bureau Washington, DC |
