I am a full-time dispute resolution specialist, serving as a mediator and arbitrator. I am listed as one of the 2008 and 2009 Best Lawyers in America in the speciality of Alternative Dispute Resolution. I was awarded the Oregon Mediation Associaton's 2008 Sid Lezak Award for Excellence for outstanding service to the profession of mediation in Oregon.

I am available for private engagements, or through various arbitration and mediation panels.

My background is diverse.  I gained broad experience as a general practice attorney from 1975 to 1990, including significant litigation; as a corporate executive and general counsel for a manufacturing company in the early 1990's; as an Oregon Circuit Court Judge Pro-Tem from 1988-2004; and as a mediator and arbitrator since 1993.
