Be a volunteer mediator - Mediate disputes between people in conflict. Few things are as rewarding or life changing. We provide professional and ongoing training, staff mentoring, and challenging opportunities for growth; you make a difference in people's lives.
Be an office volunteer - Filing, answering phones, case intake, database input. Marketing, development, public speaking, business contacts, computer assistance. Interpreters. Help us raise awareness about our services, and raise funds to support them.
Join our Speakers Bureau
CMS is in the process of creating a speakers bureau. MORE INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED SOON.
CMS Speakers Bureau will involve volunteers in public outreach that includes representing CMS at public meetings, facilitating neighborhood presentations and presenting workshops and trainings in conflict resolution. CMS will provide specific training for volunteers involved in public outreach.
We are also looking for volunteers interested in developing materials for presentations about: CMS, mediation and conflict resolution to organizations (potential referral sources, agencies, neighborhood and community groups, churches and possible funding sources).
