Mr. Bloss’ expertise is in helping people resolve their disputes. His mediation skills are transferable among a wide range of areas and his experience is equally broad. Coupled with his experience as a mediator in hundreds of disputes is experience as a litigator, as an in-house attorney, and as a civil engineer; his work experience has included private law firms, private industry, local and federal government agencies and a construction trade association, providing him with an uncommon combination of perspectives and areas of subject matter expertise. Rather than switching careers, Mr. Bloss has built on each aspect of his experience, fully utilizing each prior experience in the next.
Familiarity with specific legal issues is a concern of some who utilize mediation to resolve their disputes and Mr. Bloss has an uncommon range here as well. To some, he is a skilled mediator who fully understands the technical, practical and legal issues in construction matters. To others, he is a skilled mediator with the right temperament for the sensitive and emotional aspects of employment or wrongful death cases. Others know him as a skilled mediator with the practical and legal expertise key to dealing with all types of business disputes from partnership dissolution to unfair competition, from collection to proprietary information. And to others, he is a skilled mediator with considerable knowledge of real estate and insurance. To many, he is a skilled mediator who can be called upon to resolve disputes, from simple to complex, regardless of the subject matter.
