Kamila Blessing

 ... has been problem-solving for industry, universities, churches and other organizations including the US Navy for over 30 years. She specializes in the development of healthy communication patterns in people-systems. She began this work at the Pittsburgh Poison Center, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, in her doctoral dissertation. That work received national attention when it won the Doctoral Forum Award of the American Society for Information Science (1977).

 She was among the first in the US to be federally funded to do research in User Studies - human-machine interaction and what makes the total system of people, equipment, designers, and goals work together quickly and effectively.  

Blessing is an ordained Episcopal priest and has spent over 20 years bringing increased giving and more vibrant participation to churches in five Episcopal dioceses and to clergy and lay groups of a dozen other denominations.  She has been involved in alternative dispute resolution, family dispute resolution, mediation, and conflict work generally -- leading in every case with the positive vision of what the organization or family can be with the gifts they already have.
