    LeAndrea Alsobrook    alsobrookl@earthlink.net (202) 309-9693      Leandria Alsobrook is a conflict management program manager, credentialed coach, organizational development ocnsultant, leadership development trainer, mediator, and GallupQ12 facilitator.  She is a pioner of alternative conflict resolution techniques, serves as Co-chair of the Association for Conflict Resolution Organizational Conflict Management Section, and serves on the Federal ADR Interagency Working Group, Workplace Committee.  She received the 2003 Office of Personnel Management Director's Award for Outstanding Alternative Dispute Resolution Program and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary's Award.

    Diana C. Dale    dcdale@worklifeinstitute.com(713) 963-9456               Diana C. Dale, Co-Chair with LeAndrea of the OCM Section of ACR, is a mediator, ADR triner and Credentialed Distinguished Mediator (Texas Mediator Credentialing Assoc.).  She is the presdident of Worklife Institute and owner of Worklife Institute Consulting, based in Houston, Texas and provides consultation, training and program development in organizational change and conflict management.  Her national team of mediators also provides services for corporations, public sector and government agencies. Her own mediation practice specializes in workplace and employment disputes.  She is also a recognized consultant and instructor in business ethics and occupational safety and health.

LeAndrea and Diana are working as a team on a variety of exciting OCM Section intiatives this year.  LeAndrea focused on our mid-year seminar, joined by Shawn Boockoff, from Boston, in coordinating the conference.   Diana Dale is concentrating on expancing our section communications linkage among members, including listserve, teleseminars, Newsletter and this web site. 

We are encouraging all section members to consider how you would like to get involved and make this a landmark year in OCM Section service to the profession, our organizations and one another.  Please contact us with your ideas and interests and we will link you with a committee and team.

The team is currently seeking feedback from section members as to your interest in participating, how often would you like to have teleseminars, and what kind of topics would you like to hear about or are interested in presenting during a session.  Please contact the team with your ideas and interest.

The OCM Section is also seeking a member to volunteer to serve as our section listserve Moderator.  This person would work with Anne-Marie Burton, ACR Sections Manager, to keep the flow of conversation going according to ACR guidelines.  This will be a vital service role for our section's informal round-robin exchanges about salient issues, best practices, ideas exchange.  As soon as we get a volunteer we can initiate the listserve for all section members.  Please contact Diana Dale, OCM Section Co-chair (dcdale@WIConsulting-USA.com) tp volunteer.

Ellen Kabcenell Wayne is a professor in the masters degree program in Negotiations and Conflict Management at the University of Baltimore, where she teaches Organizational Conflict and Conflict Management; Negotiations: Theory and Practice; Approaches to Managing Conflict; Third Party Roles in Conflict; and Research Methods. Her research and practice focus is on organizational conflict management, conflict management systems, evaluation, and dialogue processes. She received a J.D. from the University of North Carolina and practiced employment law extensively prior to earning a M.S. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University

Scott Sears is a Senior Extension Associate at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and the Institute on Conflict Resolution. He works extensively with community groups, local governments, businesses, and public and private organizations to design, research, and facilitate participatory change, planning, and conflict resolution processes. As an adult educator, Scott focuses on building capacity for collaborative change through participant-situated learning in organizational and group settings.  Scott holds a Master of Arts in Conflict Resolution from Antioch University.
