John Helie was the first Managing Editor at Mediate.com from 1996 to 2000. John Ford then assumed the editorial helm for a decade. Clare Fowler becomes the third Managing Editor at Mediate.com in 15 years. Jim Melamed, Mediate.com CEO, will continue to assist Clare in publishing The Mediate.com Weekly newsletter which currently has over 11,000 opt-in subscribers.

Through March 1, 2011, Mediate.com has published nearly 6,500 articles, 2900 news items, and 600 videos. Our web site traffic for the past month is shown at www.mediate.com/Visits and shows over 13,000 daily visitor sessions averaging over 16 minutes.

Mediate.com Sections developed by John Ford are shown at www.mediate.com/Sections. Importantly, John also early developed Mediate.com’s Featured Blogs system at www.mediate.com/Blogs. Clare Fowler, our new Mediate.com Managing Editor, received her Master's of Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University School of Law. Clare also coordinated the career development program for The Straus Institute dispute resolution students. She is currently researching her doctoral dissertation on designing dispute resolution systems that will sustain small businesses. In addition to her editorial duties at Mediate.com, Clare coordinates online case management for programs, agencies and courts.
